It has been ages since I have actively blogged. Truth be told, I got caught up, I got caught up with life and the pursuit of my career. It has been an adjustment from sleeping and waking as I pleased (compounded by anxiety of permanent unemployment) to getting back into a routine. A lot of my energy was focused on getting back into the grove and to be honest with things changing so drastically I was exhausted. For a while I was also working on weekends and so my adventuring was at an all time low.
Today I feel balanced, I am getting the hang of working during the week and playing hard on the weekends. Its hasherday and I am beyond excited about what surprised lay ahead on the trail. I love that in hashing! you are never quite sure where you are or where you are going….but you are taking it all in and enjoying it all the same. Hashing is a great way to meet fun loving and adventurous people who don’t take themselves too seriously. If you have never heard of hashing I posted about it a long time ago (http://grenadasouladventurer.tumblr.com/post/55272492708/on-on) (psssst…you can hash almost anywhere in the world).
Tomorrow we have an epic soul adventure planned, a friend of mine is visiting and I feel compelled to share my enthusiasm for adventure and Grenada. Also, Miss Irie got a go pro and she is pretty stoked to use it (and I am pretty stoked too).
I am not sure when I will be blogging again (my laptop has finally packed in…I swear my technology is rebelling against me) but I am quite the active instagrammer. You can follow my shenanigans there @grenadasouladventurer. (will work on linking those posts back to here too).
Peace and Bliss
